Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Fares Alhaka, an individual based in Türkiye, trading as Dottpace ("Dottpace", "we", "us"). They cover your use of dottpace.com, the dashboard embedded on our home page (served from preview.dottpace.com), the Dottpace app and related services (together, the "Service").
By creating an account or buying a subscription, you agree to these Terms. If you use Dottpace for a company or other organization, you confirm that you're allowed to accept these Terms for it, and "you" includes that organization. Our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy are part of these Terms.
1. The Service
Dottpace helps website owners manage search visibility, AI visibility, content, site health and growth in one place. It records what changed on your site and around it, explains why results moved, prepares actions, applies the ones you approve, and measures whether they worked.
Before launch, the website offers a dashboard on example data embedded on its home page, an example audit report, a waitlist and our community. Joining the waitlist is free and doesn't commit you to buy anything. Paid plans open at launch; until then, we don't take payments.
We keep improving Dottpace, so features will change over time. If a change significantly reduces what you're paying for, we'll tell you in advance. The Service also depends on third-party platforms, such as Google, Shopify and AI assistants. When they change or limit their services or data, some features may change or stop working, and we'll keep you informed.
2. Accounts
- You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract.
- Give accurate account details and keep them up to date.
- Keep your sign-in details secure. Every plan includes unlimited users, so give each person their own login. You're responsible for activity in your workspace, including by the people you invite.
- Tell us right away at [email protected] if you think someone has used your account without permission.
3. Subscriptions and billing through Paddle
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
This means Paddle sells the subscription to you, charges your payment method, issues your receipts and invoices, and calculates and collects any sales tax or VAT. Paddle's Buyer Terms apply to your purchase. For questions about a charge, an invoice or your payment method, contact Paddle at paddle.net or through the link in your receipt. For questions about Dottpace itself, write to us.
- Prices are in US dollars. Taxes are added at checkout where they apply.
- You can pay monthly or yearly, in advance, at the start of each billing period. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
- There's no free trial. You can explore the dashboard on our home page, which runs on example data, before you buy.
- If a payment fails, Paddle will try again. If it still can't be collected, we may pause or limit your account until it's paid.
- We may change our prices. We'll tell you at least 30 days before a new price applies to your subscription, and it starts at your first renewal after that notice. Founding members keep their discount as described in section 6.
4. Plans and pooled allowances
Plans are sold by the number of sites: 1 site, 2 sites or 5 sites, plus custom plans for agencies. Yearly billing costs 10% less than paying monthly. Current prices and allowances are on our Pricing page, and the price shown at checkout is the one that applies to you. Every plan includes every tool and unlimited users.
- A "site" is one website, identified by its domain.
- Allowances are pooled: they're shared across all the sites on your plan, and you decide how to spread them. For example, on the 2-site plan you can use more tracked searches on one site and fewer on the other.
- Monthly allowances, such as content drafts, keyword research lookups, title and description rewrites and mystery-shopper runs, reset at the start of each billing month and don't roll over.
- Other allowances, such as tracked searches, AI questions, competitors, locations, Mentions watch terms, monitored backlinks and pages crawled, are the most you can have set up at one time.
- When you reach an allowance, that feature pauses until the allowance resets or you change plans. We don't charge overage fees.
- Your data history is kept for the period your plan includes.
- Upgrades take effect right away, and Paddle charges the prorated difference for the rest of the billing period. Downgrades take effect at your next renewal. If you're over the new plan's allowances, you'll choose what to keep.
5. Fair use of unlimited features
Findings, verdicts, Changes, approvals, reports, Ask Dottpace AI and integrations have no set limit. They're meant for normal use by your team on the sites in your plan. Fair use doesn't include:
- automated or scripted use meant to extract data in bulk, or to use Dottpace as a data feed for another product;
- reselling or sublicensing access, unless you have an agreement with us, such as an Agency plan;
- use so heavy that it degrades the Service for other customers.
If your use goes well beyond normal, we'll contact you first to find a fix, such as a plan that fits. If harmful use continues, we may limit it.
6. The founding offer
- Founding members — everyone who joins the founding list before launch — get 50% off the regular monthly price of their plan, for life. "For life" means for as long as that subscription stays active and unpaused.
- The offer applies to monthly billing only. It can't be combined with yearly billing or any other discount.
- If you cancel, pause, or your subscription ends because a payment couldn't be collected after Paddle's retries, the founding discount ends and can't be restored. If you subscribe again later, the regular price applies.
- If we raise regular prices, founding members keep paying 50% of the regular price they joined at, for the same plan. If you change plans, you pay 50% of the new plan's regular monthly price at the time of the change.
- The offer belongs to the subscribing account. It can't be transferred to another person, account or organization, sold, or exchanged for cash.
- If your first payment is refunded under our Refund Policy, the subscription and its founding discount end.
7. Nothing changes on your site without your approval
Dottpace prepares changes, such as content edits, new pages, title and description rewrites, review replies and listing updates, and shows you what will change. Nothing is published or changed on your site or in your connected accounts unless you, or someone in your workspace with permission to approve, approves it.
You can also set standing rules, such as a content schedule, that approve a defined kind of change in advance. A standing rule counts as your approval for the changes it covers, and you can pause or remove it at any time. We record every change we make for you, with who approved it and when.
8. Your connected accounts
- Only connect sites and accounts that you own or are authorized to manage.
- Follow the terms of the platforms you connect, such as Google, Shopify, WordPress, Stripe and ad platforms.
- Review what you approve. You're responsible for the content and changes you approve, including that they're accurate and lawful, for example claims about products, prices, health or money.
- Keep your own backups of your site. We record what we change, but we aren't a backup service.
- You can disconnect any account at any time. Features that depend on it will stop working.
9. AI output can be wrong
Dottpace uses AI to explain changes, answer your questions, draft content and replies, and summarize what AI assistants say about your brand. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date, even when it sounds confident. Check it before you rely on it or approve it. The answers we collect from third-party AI assistants show what those assistants said when we asked; they aren't our statements.
10. Verdicts and results are estimates
When you approve a change, Dottpace records the expected effect and how it will be measured, then reports a verdict, such as Worked or Can't tell. Verdicts, impact figures and amounts shown as "at stake" are estimates based on the data available. They can be wrong, and a comparison alone doesn't prove that one thing caused another.
Search engines, AI assistants and markets are outside our control. We don't guarantee any ranking, traffic, AI mention, lead, sale or revenue.
11. Acceptable use
Don't use Dottpace to:
- break the law or anyone's rights, including privacy, intellectual property and consumer protection laws;
- publish spam, deceptive or misleading content, or fake reviews, or try to manipulate search engines or AI assistants in ways their policies prohibit;
- crawl, test or monitor sites you don't own or manage, beyond the public competitor and market research built into Dottpace;
- access the Service by automated means outside our features, scrape it, or get around its limits or security;
- copy, reverse engineer or resell the Service, or use it to build a competing product;
- upload malware or anything that could harm the Service or other users;
- harass anyone, in our community or elsewhere.
12. Intellectual property and your content
- Dottpace, including its software, design and brand, belongs to us. During your subscription, we give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it under these Terms.
- Your content and data stay yours. This includes your site, the data from your connected accounts, your documents and the drafts we create for you. You give us permission to host, copy, process and display them only as needed to provide and improve the Service for you and to apply the changes you approve.
- To the extent we have any rights in the output Dottpace generates for you, we assign them to you. Other customers may receive similar output.
- We may use aggregated, de-identified information about how the Service is used to run and improve it. Google user data is used only as our Privacy Policy describes.
- If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.
13. The embedded dashboard and audits
The dashboard embedded on our home page runs on example data and never touches a real site. The example audit on our website shows what a report looks like; it isn't about your site. The audit we send at launch is based on public data and is provided as is.
14. Cancellation and termination
- You can cancel at any time in your account settings, or through Paddle with the link in your receipt or at paddle.net. Cancellation stops the next renewal, and you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
- Refunds follow our Refund Policy. Apart from that policy and where the law requires, we don't give partial refunds for unused time.
- After your subscription ends, your account stays available, read-only, for 30 days so you can export your data. Then we delete it, as our Privacy Policy describes.
- We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, if you don't pay, or if we must to comply with the law or protect the Service or others. Where it's reasonable, we'll warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
- If we stop offering Dottpace, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice and refund any prepaid fees for the time after it ends.
- Sections that by their nature should continue after your subscription ends, such as intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law, continue to apply.
15. Disclaimers
We work hard to keep Dottpace accurate and available, but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don't promise that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that data from third parties will be complete or correct.
16. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows:
- we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, rankings, traffic, data or goodwill;
- our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for it in the 12 months before the event that led to the claim, or US$100 if you haven't paid anything.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited, such as for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Nothing in these Terms takes away rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live.
17. Indemnity
If someone makes a claim against us because of content you approved, how you used your connected accounts, or your breach of these Terms or the law, you'll cover our reasonable costs and losses from that claim. This doesn't apply to the extent the claim was caused by our own breach.
18. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of Türkiye have jurisdiction over any dispute. Either of us may still seek urgent relief in any court that has jurisdiction. If you're a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and can bring a claim in your local courts.
Before starting a formal dispute, please write to us at [email protected]. We'll try to resolve it with you within 30 days.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Dottpace grows. We'll post the new version on this page and update the date below. If a change materially affects you, we'll tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you don't agree, you can cancel before then. If you keep using the Service after the change takes effect, you accept the new Terms.
20. General
- These Terms, with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service. If you have a signed agreement with us, such as an Agency plan, it takes priority where the two differ.
- If any part of these Terms can't be enforced, the rest stays in effect.
- If we don't enforce a part of these Terms right away, we can still enforce it later.
- You can't transfer your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may transfer ours as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of the business, with notice to you.
- We'll send notices to the email address on your account. You can send notices to us at [email protected].
