Security and data
What each connection reads, what it can change after your approval, and how publishing access is granted, site by site. Dottpace doesn't sell your data.
| Connection | Reads | Can change, after your approval | How, and its limits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Search Console | Searches, clicks, impressions and positions; URL Inspection for the pages Dottpace checks | Nothing | — |
| Google Analytics | Sessions, users, channels, landing pages, key events and revenue | Nothing | — |
| Shopify | Orders, revenue, products, prices, stock and customers | Titles, descriptions, pages and theme files | Through Dottpace's Shopify app, once publishing is turned on for the site |
| WordPress | Posts, pages, SEO fields, publish dates, plugin and theme updates | Posts, titles, schema and redirects | Title tags through your SEO plugin; the rest through the Dottpace WordPress plugin |
| Webflow | CMS items, pages, SEO fields and site publishes | CMS items and SEO fields | Static pages are prepared for you to publish — Webflow doesn't allow editing them through its API |
| Google Business Profile | Locations, reviews, calls, directions and profile edits | Hours, categories, photos and review replies | Through Google's Business Profile API, with Google's own access rules |
| GitHub | Merged pull requests and releases | Opens a pull request or an issue | Your team reviews and merges it — Dottpace doesn't merge |
| Stripe | Payments, subscriptions, MRR, churn, trials and plan changes | Nothing | — |
What a platform allows and what Dottpace's integration supports can differ; each connection's page in the app says which. Publishing is off until you turn it on for a site. Dottpace doesn't claim any security certification; this page will say so when that changes.
