What is Dottpace?

Dottpace is software for website owners, agencies and freelancers. It checks a website the way Google and AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity see it, finds what holds it back, prepares fixes for the owner to approve, and then measures whether each fix worked. It works for stores, service businesses, SaaS products, publishers and landing pages, and each kind of site is measured on the outcome it exists for (orders, leads, signups or readers).

How does Dottpace decide whether a fix worked?

Before a fix goes live, Dottpace records the effect it expects, the smallest result worth keeping and the method that will judge it. Afterwards it reports one of three verdicts: Worked, Didn't work or Can't tell. “Can't tell” is a real answer, not a failure, and a fix that was applied is not counted as one that worked. What does Dottpace never do?

• Change your site without your approval — one change at a time, or a standing rule you approved once.
• Promise rankings, traffic or AI mentions. Search engines and AI assistants decide those; we measure them.
• Show a single made-up score. Issues come with their evidence and the pages they touch.
• Sell your data, or publish the names of sites in our research samples.

How does Dottpace handle your data?

The free audit reads public pages only. Once you connect a tool such as Search Console or Shopify, each connection lists what it reads and what it can change, and publishing access is granted site by site. Details are on Security and data and in the Privacy Policy.

Who is Dottpace for, and where?

Dottpace is built first for English-language websites that serve customers in the United States. Its AI checks cover ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, AI Mode, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Grok.

What does Dottpace publish?

Dottpace publishes plain-language guides for website owners and data studies from its own audits. Guides and studies are written and checked by the Dottpace team and signed “Dottpace Research”. Each one is dated, links to its primary sources, and is updated in place when the facts change.
