How we publish data
- Every study states its sample size, the dates and where the sites came from.
- We say what was checked and what wasn't, such as robots.txt rules versus firewall blocks.
- Numbers are “the audit found this on X% of the sites we checked”, never “X% of the web”.
- We never name the sites in a sample. Aggregate data comes with each study.
